“A Threat to Their Hairdos” : The Evolution of Uniforms and Gender Norms in the National Park Service, Lauren Ray, BNR Upper District Interpreter

Celebrate #WomensHistoryMonth with a ranger program covering the evolution of uniforms and gender norms in the National Park Service. Lauren will demonstrate how the female ranger uniform has reflected historic shifts in American society since 1916.

This program will take place at the Newton County Library on Saturday, March 23, at 12:30 PM.
