Buffalo National River and Trail Clean Up, Ponca to Steel Creek, Monday, April 23, 9 a.m., Ponca Access, Volunteer Opportunity

In honor of Earth Day and Earth Week, the Partners will be sponsoring a Buffalo River cleanup, from Ponca to Steel Creek on Monday, April 23rd. Participants should meet at Ponca Access at 9 a.m.
This cleanup will offer two options:
1: River only. Paddle from Ponca to Steel Creek(2.6 miles) picking up litter along the river corridor. Shuttle will be provided back to Ponca.
2: River and Trail Circuit: Paddle from Ponca to Steel Creek and then pick up litter along the Buffalo River Trail while hiking back to Ponca (2.5 miles).
Bring your lunch, water, snacks and other personal items for your comfort as well as a grabber for extracting trash from the river and on shore.
Limit: 40 participants
NOTE: If you don’t have a canoe and need one, canoes and shuttles are being offered by Lost Valley Canoes and Buffalo Outdoor Center. Please make sure you indicate those needs on the registration form below.
