Join a ranger on a 1-mile guided hike through the historic district in Rush Valley. Discuss the rich mining history of Arkansas and the geologic history of zinc formation in the area. Learn about why Rush was settled and what it geologically tells us about our region.

Directions: Off of Hwy 14 out of Yellville, head towards Buffalo Point; turn left on MC 6035 to Rush. Meet at the Rush Historic District parking lot and interpretive trailhead. Parking lot and trailhead is 1/4 mile past the historic general store.
