Looking for a way to give back to the Buffalo National River?  Join others for a river clean up on Friday, July 7 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.  Meet at the Hasty launch and be sure to bring grabbers, shovels or other tools to get items out of the river.  Bags will be provided for trash (e.g., cans, paper, etc.).  Bring a sack lunch, water and any other items you will need for your comfort.

Buffalo National River has arranged with the great folks at Riverview to donate 10 canoes for those who might need one to help with the clean up.  If you’d like to help but need a canoe, please contact Ranger Lauren Ray at lauren_ray@nps.gov

The clean up is limited to 25 participants (canoes).  If you’d like to participate, please fill out the volunteer form below.  Include your name, email and phone and then click “send.

Check out the photos below from previous clean ups to see what we’ve pulled out of the river in previous years.  You can help us keep the Buffalo pristine by helping clean the area between Carver and Hasty.  See you there!
