Works from the BNR Artist-in-Residence Program from 1996-2008 and 2019, as well as pieces from twelve local renown artists, a quilt from the BNR, and the winning Anniversary Logo print. The program was open all types of artists through an application process and provided them with the opportunity to create their works of art in this beautiful, pristine setting in exchange for up to three weeks at Steel Creek in an apartment above the horse barn, the donation of a piece of art to the Park and the opportunity to participate in interpretive programs in the community. On display will be watercolors, oil paintings, collages, prints, photographs, poems, and textile arts all capturing the magnificence of the Buffalo National River.
